About Me
I’m Clara, a student at Cambridge looking for work experience in the writing and creative fields. Ever since I was little, I’ve wanted to be an author. I have piles and piles of notebooks filled with stories, drafts and poems. Now I’m hoping to make this my career.
I currently have two drafted novels, one of which is nearing the final stages of writing. I also frequently write poetry, and I am currently editing Cambridge’s only cross-college poetry zine.
I love storytelling in all forms, which is why I’m also passionate about film and photography, some of which you can find in this online portfolio. I love the use of high contrast, symmetry and straight lines to convey how life can be both imposing and quiet.
I’m looking to increase my work experience in the writing, editing and publishing sectors to help solidify my craft. I’d love to hear from you if you have any available opportunities!
